Digital Music Production After School Club starting Thursday 28th January 2021
Join our 10 week Digital Music Production Course in partnership with Pro Music Limited, and learn how to create your own tracks using Soundtrap. You will get a FREE 1 year license for the Soundtrap DAW software.
You will need a PC or laptop (recommended) or tablet to access the software.
Starting from Week 1 you will learn the basic of digital music production and how to use the Soundtrap software, and by the end of Week 10 you will have created your own track.
This is a 10 week course starting on 28th January, 5-6pm. It’s suitable for beginners, and you will learn the basics of Soundtrap and how to put a track together. You will need to access the software on a desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile, and the course will be delivered on Zoom.
The course is led by Tom of Pro Music Tuition, You will need to be able to attend all the sessions as we will not record them.

What is Soundtrap?
With Soundtrap you make music or any type of audio recording online. You can plug in your own instrument, use the software instruments available in Soundtrap or just record a song directly with your computer microphone.
Soundtrap is a digital audio workstation (DAW) owned by Spotify. It’s easily accessible on your browser from a variety of devices, such as Windows, Mac, Chromebook, Linux, smartphones, and tablets.
The platform’s goal is to give easy-to-use, collaborative, music-making capabilities to anyone with a passion for music and an electronic device. You can create beats, experiment with a wide range of loops, effects and instruments, collaborate with your co-artists and ultimately produce your own music.
The online studio gives you the ability to record, edit and collaborate on any device, anywhere you go. Not only can you create a track whenever you feel inspired but, even better, all of your projects are stored online in the cloud.
