Learn how to make these colourful marbled prints! Inspiration and credit from Cassie Stephens. Link to her Blog: https://cassiestephens.blogspot.com/ and TikTok: @Cassie_Stephens

To make these prints you will need:

  • Shaving foam

  • Watercolours

  • A little bit of water in a cup

  • A container or tray

  • A paintbrush

  • Cardboard or something you can scrape with

  • Card cut up into smaller sizes

Instructions below or follow along on our YouTube tutorial, which can be accessed at the bottom of this page.

Start by adding some shaving foam to your container/tray and pat down it down. Using the water and paintbrush, wet all the watercolour paints you want to use and start to paint/drop the paint onto the shaving foam (see image above).

Using the end of the paintbrush, swirl the shaving foam, creating a pattern with the colours.

Place a piece of card on top of the shaving foam so the foam and colours get onto the card. Push down the card a bit to make sure it picks up the patterns. Then lift the card up and place onto a hard surface.

Using the cardboard (or anything else you are using as a scrapper), scrape off the foam from the card.

Leave to one side to dry and you will be left with a bright coloured marbled print. To make more prints repeat the steps. Have fun and be as experimental as you want to be 🙂
